Megan Schilling grew up in western Iowa on a picturesque farm with alfalfa fields and fruit trees. She helped raise ducks, chickens, and geese; chased kittens through barns; and tended the flower and vegetable garden with her family.

Megan currently serves as Content Manager for an agtech startup, developing and implementing marketing content strategy.

​Previously, she worked as an agriculture journalist writing about conservation, whole-systems farming, digital solutions, and new technology for Successful Farming magazine and agriculture.com.

She is former Executive Director for the Iowa AgriTech Accelerator, a mentor-led program for agtech startups, and began her career managing internal communications for a financial technology startup in Ames, Iowa.
